With a magic goal from Adam Lallana probably making us breathe a sigh of relief last night, 6 minutes later Chris Brunt brought us back to earth with a thump.

Its now 1 from 5 with anyone of, Saints, Leicester, Sheff Weds, Coventry and Blackpool likely to go down. If Saints beat Sheff Utd on Sunday it would a cruel twist if all the other four won as well. All Saints need to do to guarantee survival, is better Leicesters result against Stoke. Stoke now pushing for the automatic promotion spot with Hull close on their heals, they are not likely to let up.

Even so Sheff Utd also pushing for a play off place they are unlikely to make it easy either, with a possible return of James Beattie to the stadium. However, Saints alsays seem to do better agaisnt sides wanting something out of the game, for instance take a look at Burnley last week, we were dire!

Against West Brom last night - yes we were lucky but resilient and it wasn't until the introduction of Adam Lallana that the deadlock was broken, that silenced the home crowd.
