I personally think the hype surrounding the “new team” from the OS and the echo has been a little overdone.

Players who have hardly played a game in the championship are being described as “class acts”, and we’ve not kicked a competitive ball yet.

Indeed reading the echo and the official site in isolation would lead you to believe we are favourites to get promoted.

But I have to say the latest bit of hype……”McGoldrick for England”…..is just pushing things a little too far.

Don’t get me wrong, I think he deserves to play on Saturday, 8 goals in pre season is a good return. I also think he should have been given more chances in the past than the likes of BWP, who continuously failed to deliver last season.
But why make statements like that of a guy who has yet to net in the championship??.......

I just think over hyping sets us up to a bigger fall, when reality sets in.

But please prove me wrong…………and I’ll be the happiest “wrong” guy in the world.
