[UPDATE]

A boring first half with colchester missing two sitters. Nathan Dyer has appeared bright and alert.  We shouldn't be playing the long ball and  play direct and passing football, this is what we are best at. We could have easily been 1-0 down. Viafara making good runs off the ball and we need more of this...  I would bring Wright-Phillips off and put Saganowski on for the 2nd half - my view?

Full Time 1 -1, Saints scoring both goals, 90 minutes of pure boredom, no inventivness,  a 10 yard volley from Wright-Phillips a strikers goal and a ball across the goal the other end for Skacel to turn in.

[/UPDATE]

Having the 2nd worst overall defensive record (11 goals conceded), and the third worst home record (6 goals conceded), Saints have something to prove, going into tonights home tie against Colchester.

George Burleys squad rotation may not be having the desired effect against Watford, he may be considering going back to the team sheets for the two back to back wins against Stoke and QPR.

We have the 4th best away offensive record something we need to emulate at fortress St Mary's. Another sickening statistic is the leading goalscorers in the Championship, James Beattie  with 6 and Kevin Phillips with 4!!
