Claus has to pay for pitch himself

Southampton defender Claus Lundekvam is spending £100,000 to re-lay the St Mary's pitch in time for his testimonial against Celtic on July 18.The pitch was ruined by 50,000 rock fans at a Bon Jovi concert. And Matt Le Tissier, chairman of the testimonial committee, said: "Claus is out of pocket. He should be making some money, not losing it."
