Andrew Davies has today completed his move to Stoke City.

The 23-year-old defender has moved for a fee believed to be in the region of £1.3m.

The one-capped England U21 international came to St. Mary's in October from his native Middlesbrough before making his move permanent in January for £1m.

It now leaves little options in our back four with possible serious implications if Michael Svensson  suddenly has recurrent problems. Michael currently doesn't play mid week matches which leaves the door open for Wayne Thomas mid week.
