The most depressing thing about this score line is that it’s not a surprise to most Saints fans anymore.  It is difficult to remember darker days, even last season when we lost games we should have won, at least we weren’t tonked regularly by clubs we should be beating.

Out of the 13 leagues games we’ve played we lost by 3 goals in 4 of them.

We are struggling to score, so we loan out our only experienced striker.

The defence looks weak, and needs experience, so we loan in inexperienced midfielders, who can’t get in their own teams.

Jan says the team needs belief….well whose job is it to give them that belief?

The fact is Saints play some nice passing football, but its all backwards and sideways, and any Championship team that does the slightest bit of homework, can suss us out and when they do we have no plan B.
